About Me

Federico Javier Jaimes is a philosophy professor graduated from University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and a doctoral fellow for the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET). He specializes in philosophy of language. His doctoral research topic is hate speech and its specific occurrence in computer programs running with machine learning. In addition, he has interests in the semantics of empty names, fictional names and in pluripropositionalist semantics, i.e., linguistic theories that claim that more than one proposition is expressed when uttering a sentence.
